Marc van der Linden appointed as Eneco Board Member
Marc van der Linden has been appointed Eneco Board Member with effect from 1 December 2012. He will replace Jurriaan Ruys, who stepped in as interim Board Member on 1 January 2012 after the sudden death of Douwe Kras in December 2011.
Marc (40) has been with Eneco since 1997 and is currently Director of the business unit Eneco Wind. Previous positions include that of Director of the business unit Eneco Installation Companies and Director Eneco Energy Projects.
As member of the Board of Management, Marc's portfolio will consist of the business units Eneco Heating and Cooling, ESES (Eneco Strategic Energy Solutions), Eneco Installation Companies, Ecofys, Stedin and Joulz.
Marc holds a degree in Economics from Tilburg University. He is married and enjoys cycling, football, skiing and travelling.
Jurriaan Ruys ends his role as interim member of the Board of Eneco per 1 January 2013 and will continue his position as partner at McKinsey & Company. The Board of Management and the Supervisory Board are very grateful for his commitment.
