Marike van Lier Lels (1959) resigns from the Supervisory Board of Eneco Group NV, with immediate effect.

She fully supports the policies conducted by the Executive Board and is convinced the decision-making was right in principle, given the complex dynamics that surrounded the company. While the decision of the Enterprise Division of the Amsterdam Court of Appeals does not affect her directly, she chooses to take her responsibility; according to her it is not in the interest of the company to remain as member of the Supervisory Board.

Miss van Lier Lels was a member of the Supervisory Board since 2003, in first instance of Eneco Holding, as of 1 February 2017 of Eneco Group.
